Bioclear is an innovative system which uses traditional composite resin in a new way to achieve a beautiful smile. It's minimally invasive and won't damage your teeth.

What Can Bioclear do?
Repair Chips
Repair Cracks
Remove stains and alter the color of these teeth
Improve discoloration
Alter uneven or small-sized teeth
Improve damage from decay
Close gaps
Reduce dark triangles between teeth
Bioclear restorations can also be a more conservative alternative to crowns and veneers.
The Bioclear Process
The Bioclear process takes only one day and preserves as much natural tooth structure as possible.
Your tooth will have a solution put on it so that Dr. Jackie can see the biofilm and bacteria present on the tooth/teeth. Removing this film is important to achieving a strong bond between the tooth and the composite material.
The teeth will then be cleaned using a powerful and effective Aluminum Trihydroxide blasting slurry. The Blaster efficiently removes the toughest biofilm without damaging the enamel surface.
Dr. Jackie will then pick out the necessary materials to create a plastic mold which will determine the proper shape and size of the tooth.
The plastic mold will be placed around the tooth and warmed composite resin is injection molded into the mold and cured with a blue light. This makes the composite harder and more resistant to future breakage.
The plastic mold is then removed and the tooth is polished to a shine.
Bioclear or Crowns/Veneers
Bioclear is not always a replacement for crowns or veneers but depending on the circumstances, Bioclear can be a good alternative to consider.
Bioclear is often preferred to traditional crowns and veneers due to it's ability to conserve tooth structure.
To perform a crown or veneer, typically tooth structure is lost to allow for the proper material thickness of porcelain. This process is irreversible. With Bioclear, minimal to no tooth-structure is lost and the composite blends seamlessly with the tooth.
Both Bioclear and crowns are able to fortify and strengthen the tooth and provide full coverage when necessary.
Both Bioclear and Crowns can provide strength in fractured teeth and reduce discomfort on chewing.
Is Bioclear covered by Insurance
